We have an enviable collection of original paintings, drawings, photographs, and limited edition prints in stock at all times. Literally thousands of items are in our inventory— ready to be taken home by you! In addition to those, there are thousands more items available to order - many of which are represented here on our site, with more being added regularly. 

If you would like to inquire about any of the artwork represented here, please contact the gallery to speak with one of our Art Consultants or click the “Contact Us” link provided. Our staff boasts a wide range of knowledge and extensive experience with both the artworks themselves and the collector market over the years, any of us would be delighted to share more information with you.

PLEASE NOTE THAT every piece of artwork purchased from SFAE LLC will come with a signed certificate of authenticity - delivered separately, after your purchase is in your possession.

What Happens After I Make An Online Purchase?

You should receive an automated order confirmation message which contains various ways to contact us with any questions or concerns. If you don’t receive this message - first check your spam folder in case it is there, but otherwise please feel free to call or email the gallery directly.

Any item that is in-stock and purchased UNFRAMED will be prepared and added to our shipping queue, usually within one business day of your order. We will notify you when the item is shipped, usually within 2-3 business days from the original date of your order.

Any item that is in-stock and purchased FRAMED, will be prepared and added to our framing queue, usually within one business day of your order. It can take upwards of 10 business days for the framing to be completed but rest assured that museum-quality framing takes skill and precision and will be completed as soon as possible (more on framing below). Once your piece is ready, it will be professionally packaged and added to our shipping queue. We will notify you when the item is shipped.

Any item that is NOT in-stock will need to be ordered from the artist or authorized representative. We will notify you that we have ordered your piece and provide a general ETA based on previous experience and/or information we get directly from the artist or authorized representative. 

For original paintings, drawings, or unique prints - these items have already been produced, so they will be prepared for shipping to us within a few days of our request.  

For original photographs or fine-art prints - these high-quality items are usually made to order, or are produced in very small batches by the artists themselves or an authorized representative. Depending on the availability of studio/darkroom space, or other projects on which they may be working, there could be a lead-time of several weeks before the final artwork can be shipped to us. We will contact you with any ETA information we can provide in these cases.

If you purchase multiple items some may be in stock while others aren’t. Typically, we will hold your items until the entire order is ready to ship. We will contact you with details on ETA for any outstanding pieces.

How Long Will It Take For Me To Receive My Order?

Depending on the item you’ve chosen, it may take several weeks for the piece to be produced and shipped to you, so we usually suggest a 4-6 week standard lead-time for delivery. 

We will communicate any and all ETA information that we receive regarding your purchase, along the way.

If the item is a gift, or if you have a preferred due-date for the item you wish to purchase to be delivered, please contact one of our sales staff to discuss availability before you make an online purchase. We’ll be more than happy to try our best to make sure you get what you need and know what to expect before you buy!
