Hunter S. Thompson with beer and cigarette in hand at Pepe's Bar on the island of Cozumel, Mexico, circa 1974, while working on The Great Shark Hunt. The book is largely a collection of rare newspaper and magazine pieces from his pre-Gonzo period.
