This is an original pencil & colored pencil drawing on tracing paper which served as the basis for the final design that appeared in the April, 1945 issue of Esquire Magazine's Military Edition. This image features a smiling blonde woman standing on her tip-toes while leaning against the back of a roughly sketched chair. She is wearing a white skirted bathing suit and her hair appears as though it is blowing in a breeze.
