"To illustrate a story on Blondie, SoHo News music editor Peter Occhiogrosso had the idea for this cover shot with Chris Stein as the éminence grise behind Debbie Harry. I shot this in the recording studio with my Hasselblad, but Peter was dissatisfied as I had Chris too close to Debbie instead of further back in the shadows. It was a successful cover anyway."
