Posing next to a collage of Bob Seidemann posters at her home in the Haight-Ashbury section of San Francisco, Janis Joplin is every bit the iconic rock star. Photographer Baron Wolman took many classic images of Janis. This one was from 1968, the year she made her major label debut with Cheap Thrills, an album recorded with Big Brother and the Holding Company.

For most of his images, Baron Wolman offered signed limited edition photographs in the several sizes listed below. His black and white photographs were printed as silver gelatins, and his color photographs were C-prints. These were typically printed to order in New Mexico and then numbered, titled, and signed by him.

Collector's Notes:
Although he offered several sizes for each photograph, Baron's work was most often produced in the 11" x 14" and 16" x 20" sheet sizes.
When he passed, Baron Wolman left behind an archive of signed photographs that we are now offering in very limited supply for collectors.
