About the image

This smiling portrait of Muddy Waters was taken at the Ann Arbor Blues Festival in Michigan, circa 1969. Following Waters' death in 1983, B.B. King told Guitar World magazine, "It's going to be years and years before most people realize how greatly he contributed to American music."

Release Notes:
For most of his images, Baron Wolman offered signed limited edition photographs in the several sizes listed below. His black and white photographs were printed as silver gelatins, and his color photographs were C-prints. These were typically printed to order in New Mexico and then numbered, titled, and signed by him.

8"  x 10" Sheet Size, as signed, open editions
11" x 14" Sheet Size, as signed, limited editions of 150

When he passed, Baron Wolman left behind an archive of signed photographs that we are now offering in very limited supply for collectors.
