Bob Dylan, Ireland, 1966

By Barry Feinstein
About the image
Bob Dylan in Dublin, Ireland during his tumultuous 1966 World Tour. This was Dylan's first using amplified instruments, and was quite controversial, as fans longed for his folksier roots. Dylan also went through a fashion change during this period, abandoning the clean-cut James Dean look for the long, curly hair loosely permed into an afro.
