Paul McCartney played a concert inside the historic Colosseum in May of 2003 during his record-setting Back in The World Tour. He performed for nearly 3 hours to an exclusive audience of only 400 people at this benefit show, a rarity at this site. At one point during the show McCartney quipped, "we understand this is the first time there's been a band in the Colosseum since the Christians!"
In this image he is seated at the multi-colored upright "Magic Piano" which he played during his solo section and at the end of the show.
