David Bowie, Ziggy Stardust Contact Sheet, 1972

Taken for a publicity shoot in August, 1972, David Bowie is captured here as Ziggy Stardust, wearing a costume he designed with his friend Freddie Burretti. He had worn this outfit a few weeks before on an appearance on TV's "Top of the Pops".
