Jimi Hendrix on stage at 1967's Monterey Pop Festival. The performance was filmed by D. A. Pennebaker and later shown in in the concert documentary Monterey Pop, which immortalized Hendrix's iconic burning and smashing of his guitar at the end of his appearance.
