Marilyn Monroe, co-star Tom Ewell and director Billy Wilder on the New York set of "The Seven Year itch" , circa 1954. The title of the film refers to the urge to be unfaithful after seven years of matrimony. It was based on a three-act play with the same name by George Axelrod.
