Grace Slick Interview, Airplane Mansion, San Francisco, CA, 1974

In 1968 Jefferson Airplane bought a mansion at 2400 Fulton St, along the Northeastern edge of Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. It served as their headquarters where they lived, worked, and played (infamously) together as a band.

Grace was photographed by Dennis Anderson on assignment with Creem magazine as she was being interviewed by writer Lester Bangs. Several of Dennis Anderson's photographs of Grace were published in the May, 1974 issue, with Lester Bangs' article titled "Dada at the End of a Fist - A Champagne Flight with Grace Slick".
