About the image

A close-up of Jimi as he stares into the camera whilst lightly holding his hands together. He is wearing a velvet cardigan with lace cuffs peaking out at his hands and a silk cravat hangs from his neck.

In the two studio sessions Gered had with Jimi he maintained that Jimi didn't need props to make a photograph interesting. He just needed to turn up, be well lit, and the photograph would be great.
