The Beatles were taken to meet Muhammad Ali on February 18, 1964, during their first - and now legendary - trip to the USA to appear on the Ed Sullivan Show. They were brought to Miami Beach's 5th Street Gym where Ali (then Cassius Clay) was preparing for his upcoming heavyweight fight with Sonny Liston. The group goofed around and posed for a roomfull of press, producing several memorable shots.
