Reggae legend Bob Marley and his band mates arrive at Birmingham Odeon (UK) on foot during their first tour in this richly cinematic image, taken on January 19th, 1975.

"On assignment for NME...to do a feature on the Wailers who we caught up with at their hotel. After a while, they said they were off to do a sound check and invited us along. Sure, we replied, where are the limos? 'Limos? We got no limos, we walk!' " - Ian Dickson
