Greg Allman, founding member of The Allman Brothers Band, sits next to a portrait of his brother Duane Allman while in Macon Georgia, circa August 1975. Greg had just married Cher in June 1975, but then she filed for divorce a week-and-a-half later, and the story had become fodder for the tabloids.
