An original drawing of John Lennon completed in 2001. 

Artist Klaus Voormann originally met "The Beatles" at the Kaiserkeller Club in Hamburg, Germany. From that first introduction in 1960, Klaus’s friendship with the band grew. Eventually he moved to London at the invitation of George Harrison and Ringo Starr and stayed with them in their apartment while he sought work as a commercial artist. Then, in 1965, he was asked by John Lennon to design the cover of Revolver.
