Blondie lead singer Debbie Harry, an icon of the American new wave and punk rock scenes, salutes the lens in a Popeye t-shirt and sailor cap in this shot from 1978. This was the year the band released Parallel Lines, which contained several hit singles including "Heart of Glass," "Hanging on the Telephone, " and "One Way or Another."
