Guitarist Andy Summers, Gordon Sumner (better known as Sting, the bassist/lead vocalist) and drummer Stewart Copeland of The Police, circa 1980, the year they released Zenyattà Mondatta. The band played a style of rock (New Wave) that was influenced by jazz, reggae, and punk music. To date, The Police have sold over 50 million albums worldwide.
