This print is part of the Peter Gabriel : Album Art Collection, a series of 15 artworks featuring the album cover imagery from each of Peter Gabriel's solo releases from 1977 to 2010. Peter Gabriel produced this series as fine-art limited edition prints in 2010, coordinating with each of the artists who created the original artworks. Each one is signed by both the artist and Peter Gabriel himself and are available in two size options.
”I’ve always loved artwork and album art. I think it’s been a huge part of what people identify and feel about the music and the records” said Peter Gabriel “I used to love gatefold sleeves…when you would sit with a new record and open it up it was just a precious moment. Now we’ve gone into this digital world a lot of that has been lost. We’ve being looking at ways of getting quality prints of the artwork for a long time and I’m happy now it has happened.”
Sizing Notes:
When Storm first began publishing his serigraph prints he thoughtfully considered the specific ideal proportions of image to paper. Although many of his designs were in a square format, he chose to print most of his pieces on rectangular paper with a substantial margin on all sides (widest at the bottom). This format is fairly consistent throughout much of his catalog, making it easy to create a visually cohesive collection of multiple pieces hung side-by-side.
