Raquel Welch was the quintessential sex symbol in the 1960s and was hoping that her role as Myra Breckinridge would help get her more interesting parts. Unfortunately, the film - a commercial and critical flop - probably destroyed those aspirations. Nonetheless, her beauty and radiance shines through in this iconic shot by celebrity photographer Terry O'Neill.
