One of my first pictures, taken for Elle magazine in Paris. Frank Zappa was staying at l’Hotel, rue des Beaux Arts. I liked the contrast between this modern American musician and the old fashion French décor, and I think Frank was amused by it too. I could also sense some surprise: the photographer was a woman. Quite unusual in 1980.
