About the image

“Sometimes in his grey black fog, Jim still seemed comfortable with the eerie surroundings that accompany extreme experimentation. Morphine may or may not blow out a sense of proportion, but Jim was more than willing to be his own lab rat and record the process as it was happening. Like mirrors, we were able to watch the researchers as they used themselves up.” - Grace Slick
