This photograph was used for the right side of the double gatefold cover of Jimi Hendrix's 1968 album, Electric Ladyland. It was shot in performance at Brian Epstein’s Saville Theatre the day Brian died – taken at the peak of Hendrix's mastery of the electric guitar.
