Sir Elton John has been one of the dominant forces in popular music over the last four decades, having sold more than 200 million records. He is best known for his on-stage showmanship, illustrated by this performance shot from 1983. This was the year he released his seventeenth studio album, Too Low For Zero, featuring lyrics written by Bernie Taupin.
