Ray Charles' infectious smile is rendered vividly in this performance shot taken in Richmond, Virginia. 

A 2005 biopic about Charles, starring Jamie Foxx in the title role, earned Foxx an Academy Award for Best Actor. Charles  died, unfortunately, before it opened in theaters.
