About the image

In the Rolling Stones, Ronnie Wood plays slide guitar, and contributes one half of the "ancient art of weaving" - Keith Richards' term for a style of interchange between guitarists that explores and refines the interplay of dual guitars. This print from the On Stage Suite shows a typical Stones concert: Mick Jagger performing in front, Ronnie on slide guitar, and Keith Richards in the background on lead guitar (as seen from the large Jumbotron monitor).

The On Stage Suite:
This series is comprised of three expressive illustrations of the Rolling Stones performing.
