The "ancient art of weaving" is the name the Stones gave the style of guitar playing perfected by Keith Richards and Brian Jones, and later by Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood. The technique involves trading off the lead and rhythm guitar riffs between each other during the performances creating an audio tapestry of style and sound.
